Artist-in-Residence Program
The Artist-in-Residence program (AIR) in the framework of the European Art Fellowship of the District Council of Upper Bavaria takes place as a cooperative arrangement with foreign partner institutions in whole Europe. Visual artists from outside Germany are given the opportunity to live and work for one to three months at the Schafhof. In exchange, Upper Bavarian artists take part in equal residencies in the partner countries. The program is committed to developing and promoting a European outlook and enriching cultural life in the region.

Artist-in-residence
The artist-in-residence program takes place in the framework of the European Art Fellowship of the District Council of Upper Bavaria.
During the stay of the guest artists in Freising presentations and open studio days provide the possibility to meet with and know more about the artists. There is always the option to arrange individual visits and meetings as well.
