SAFE SPACE | Modellbau-Workshop

Join current artist-in-residence Barbara Gocníková for Safe Space, a hands-on model-building workshop exploring how we relate to comfort, safety, and personal space.

Each participant will receive a small pre-made room model to transform into their own “safe space” — not with miniature furniture, but with symbolic forms, textures, and elements that express what safety and healing mean to them.

This reflective workshop invites people of all ages to reimagine interiors as emotional landscapes. All materials will be provided. No previous experience needed — just curiosity and openness.

Participants will also have the opportunity to visit Barbara’s studio apartment at Schafhof, where she is currently developing a site-specific installation closely related to the workshop theme.
