"Since the beginning of my artistic work, my main interest has been, in addition to project-specific the relationship between language and image as well as forms of "linguistic imagery". I want to find out which forms of intelligence can take place between text and image. In my text-based video works, the language - mostly in the form of a voiceover - is in the foreground. In my texts, which I write myself after intensive research and / or collage, the theoretical, the personal and the lyrical, the literary and the philosophical. I am interested in developing thinking forms, which is why my videos often have essayistic features. I work on topics of an abstract nature in my videos (e.g.: What is a voice? What is a gaze? What is a circle? What could be a theory of digression?), which I consider to be a research, as well as relevant social topics with a feminist focus. In recent years, I have dealt in depth with questions of a genuine "female" rage and the specific conditions and experiences of female and queer writers."
