The Schafhof is the art forum for contemporary art of the District Council of Upper Bavaria with a focus on the residency program within the framework of the Art Fellowship of the District Council of Upper Bavaria, an international exhibition program and local and regional cultural events.
On Saturday and Sunday, come and enjoy the arts and crafts market and the exhibition from 10 am to 7 pm and 6 pm respectively, featuring high-quality, one-of-a-kind items, an exciting programme of events and a wide range of culinary delights!
CAFÉ MUSE is open
The museum café is open throughout the exhibition opening hours:
– Wednesday to Saturday, 2 pm to 7 pm
– Sunday and public holidays, 10 am to 7 pm
Enjoy coffee, cake and cold drinks on the sun terrace and in the inspiring atmosphere of this historic building! Since May 2026, the museum café has been run in partnership with Viva Vita, an inclusive enterprise and a subsidiary of Lebenshilfe Freising e.V.
At weekends and on public holidays, the museum café also treats you to a selection with a selection of quiches and lasagne, as well as other delicacies fresh from the kitchen at Viva Vita, and a varied range of fresh cakes from Mion’s Café in Sünzhausen.
Please note that only cash payments are currently accepted in the café.
