The 10-piece brass ensemble ZeBrass was originally founded by students at Camerloher Gymnasium in Freising. With four trumpets, a horn, four trombones and a tuba, they fill concert halls with powerful, rich brass sounds, but also with the delicate, filigree facets of brass literature.
In this year's spring programme, listeners can look forward to a varied and exciting repertoire. In addition to well-known melodies from the operas Aida, Carmen and Tannhäuser, the ensemble will also perform rousing Latin rhythms. Furthermore, the ensemble spans the arc from the Renaissance to the modern era, demonstrating the versatility of brass sounds across several epochs. Film music is not neglected either – a perfect blend of classical and contemporary sounds!
Admission is free, but donations are welcome.
