Artist Miguel Gomez in front of four of his works.
Miguel Gomez expresses himself through body art, performance art, video art and installations in addition to painting.
"Art for me is like the pull of the sea, a frantic word that whispers into the mind, a sky torn by a steel blade, a luminous path in the dark, a veil that delicately covers the lines of love, the twilight of dreams, the color trace of a story written on the skin with tears and blood, a smile, a sharp caress, a soul that knows how to fly, a trail of light between cities, a sound that scrapes the soul. Art is not waiting for things to change, it is changing. Art is an unstoppable vomiting of the soul that fixes colors, words, sounds and images in the spaces of pain. Art is a pale, dark place at the end of the road of those who let time pass without noticing." Miguel Gomez
Curator of international events such as "Women in...Art, Xchange", he is currently artistic director of the International Biennale Bibart of Bari and surroundings and responsible for the visual and performing arts of Artoteca Vallisa, Santa Teresa dei Maschi-Bari and president of A.P.S Federico II Eventi.
