About the festival
„Cool music around a cozy campfire” – that was Marc Hanow's original idea, which was launched in collaboration with the European Art Forum Upper Bavaria as part of the “Sound Live” series on August 5, 2017 at the Schafhof in Freising. Bonfire will take place for the seventh time in 2024.
A festival with a special atmosphere, with autobiographical songs and many stories of life - around the campfire.
Invited by the Freising singer-songwriter duo “Apollon's Smile” (Marc Hanow & Julian Hobmeier), various singer-songwriters from Freising and the rest of the world will showcase their musical skills and guide the audience through the “Bonfire Festival” with handmade music
Café Botanika provides the best catering.
Important Information for festival visitors
- Please do not bring your own food and drinks.
- In case of bad weather, the festival will take place in the barrel vault of the Schafhof.
- Dogs must be kept on a leash on the festival grounds.
