About the exhibition
Mischa Kuball’s installation five suns / after Galileo (2018) alludes to both the conflict and common ground between science and art. His use of light is consistently linked to a reflecting on social, political and (natural) scientific concerns. five suns / after Galileo centers on one of Galileo Galilei’s significant
astronomical discoveries: the Italian polymath’s observation of “sunspots” confirming the Copernican worldview.
